For more than 20 years, ICMC has provided such expert services as a partner with the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, and is available to offer similar services to governments and humanitarian agencies.

Deploying Experts to Protect Refugees and Asylum-Seekers Around the World
ICMC’s experts are highly competent in areas such as resettlement and complementary refugee admission pathways, child protection, refugee status determination, anti-fraud measures, and prevention and response to sexual and gender-based violence. Our experts are deployed across the world to provide vital assistance in humanitarian operations implemented by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and other UN agencies.

Supporting the Greek Government’s Asylum System
Greece faces unique challenges to protect asylum-seekers on its territory. ICMC has worked with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to support the country’s asylum and migration system since 2010. Experts deployed by ICMC to multiple locations across the country strengthen the Greek government’s capacity to receive, register and protect people seeking international protection, and to improve and accelerate the registration procedures.
