IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings

The Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Guidelines for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings provide information to organizations and individuals on how to respond appropriately during humanitarian emergencies. They include a matrix, which provides a framework for mapping the extent to which essential first responses are being implemented during an emergency. The Guidelines have been developed with input from ICMC and numerous other agencies and practitioners.
