Across the globe, women and girls still face gender-based discrimination. Refugee and migrant women face heightened threats of violence and forced displacement. To highlight World Refugee Day, the KAICIID Dialogue Center is hosting the webinar “Women on the Frontlines: The Importance of the Empowerment of Female Refugees and Migrants for a Socially Inclusive Europe.” A panel of women experts, including ICMC Jordan Program Manager Yadviga Kirdzik, will participate in this event. The webinar addresses the challenges to social inclusion faced by women on the move, the actions taken to support them, and the importance of intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
