Holy See Praises Primacy of Human Rights in Draft Law on Expulsion

The papal representative at the UN welcomed provisions in draft international law concerning expulsion of non-citizens that emphasize respect for human rights and dignity, extension of the principle of non-refoulement, limits on detention, and attention to the best interests of children on the move.
