Synod of Bishops Urges Church to Tackle Racism, Support Integration

The global Synod of Bishops has urged the Church to view pastoral care including that of refugees and migrants as “a form of ecclesial action” and not just the work of individuals. Delegates stressed the need for more programs to tackle racism and xenophobia and to support integration of migrants.
