World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the UN to honor refugees. It is a time to celebrate the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution.

World Refugee Day is commemorated through various events in communities around the world, including at ICMC’s field offices. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, most activities are held online in 2020.

ICMC provides assistance and protection to vulnerable people on the move and advocates for sustainable solutions for refugees and migrants.
