The XII GFMD Summit will take place in Quito, Ecuador, and will bring together over 220 civil society delegates from around the world to exchange and meet with government representatives, local governments and private sector stakeholders. ICMC coordinates the GFMD’s Civil Society mechanism since 2011. Participants include policy-makers from governmental agencies, UN organizations, NGOs, trade unions, the private sector, city government officials, academia, as well as migrant and diaspora groups.
