U.S. Bishops Sue Administration Over Funds Stop for Refugee Support

Ending funding for refugee resettlement support is illegal, U.S. Bishops argued in a lawsuit against the Trump administration last week. The funding stop is halting efforts to welcome newcomers arriving via this legal pathway and to help them become self-sufficient, the Episcopal Conference said.
