Empowering Refugees in Malaysia
Since 2010, ICMC works with refugee communities in Malaysia to prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
We operate hotlines for survivors and provide emergency access to services, including shelter, counseling and financial assistance. We also run awareness-raising programs on gender-based violence and life skills to promote change in affected communities. We contribute to refugee empowerment by offering education and vocational training that allows refugees to become financially self-sufficient.
