The Civil Society Action Committee (AC) condemns the recent racist, xenophobic, and Islamophobic riots in the UK that have endangered minority communities, migrants, diaspora and people of color.

The AC also deplores media narratives that downplay the severity of the violence and the government’s inadequate protection for those targeted.

The AC calls for clear condemnation of these hate-driven acts, protection for at-risk communities, and cooperation with countries of origin to protect and support their diaspora.
