Rev. Fr. Agler Cherizier
Rev. Fr. Cherizier graduated from the San Alfonso de Bogotá University Foundation in Colombia (Section of Theology) in 2009, and in 2013 obtained a further degree in the Theology of Human Mobility at the Urbaniana University in Rome. He was ordained as a priest in both Rome and Haiti in 2013.
From 2014-17, Fr. Cherizier held the position of Migration Pastoral Coordinator in the Archdiocese of Curitiba in Brazil. He currently holds the position of chaplain at Saint Thomas Apostle Mission in Haiti. Since 2017, Fr. Cherizier has served as the Executive Secretary of the Episcopal Commission for Migrants and Itinerant People (CEMI), coordinated by the Argentine Episcopal Conference.
