2023 UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28)

The COP (Conference of the Parties) summit is attended by all countries that have signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), a global treaty that came into force in 1994.

The COP reviews the implementation of the Convention and any other legal instruments that the COP adopts, and take decisions necessary to promote the effective implementation of the Convention, including institutional and administrative arrangements. 2023 is the 28th session of the COP (COP 28), which is hosted by the United Arb Emirates.
