Bishops in Chile, Peru Call for Dialogue, not “Coercive Measures”

Bishops of Chile and Peru have called for dialogue and respect for human dignity in response to increased migration and border clashes after Chile tightened its policies. They urged leaders to avoid militarizing the border or other “coercive measures that demand more considered and fair solutions.”
