Guatemala: New Regulations Could Put Welcome to Migrants at Risk

Guatemalan Bishops are concerned new government rules will shut down welcome services for migrants. “Migrant houses must continue to be a service of charity … the strict application of regulations will prevent this and force its closure,” read a message from their Annual General Assembly.
