Filipino Bishop Welcomes New Department for Migrant Workers

A new Department of Migrant Workers created by the Filipino government will serve to protect the rights of overseas workers, Bishop Ruperto C. Santos of the Episcopal migrant commission told Radio Veritas. He called the initiative a “very necessary and timely Christmas gift” for migrant workers.
