The International Catholic Migration Commission works for and on behalf of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced people, and victims of human trafficking, regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality. Every day, the ICMC staff works hard to help uprooted people rebuild a life of hope and dignity in a safe environment. With your donation to ICMC, you help to restore hope and provide opportunities for millions of individuals around the world.
ICMC makes the most efficient use of the resources it receives: 87% of the funds are allocated to projects, while 13% are used to cover structural costs (administration, communications, support to field offices). These expenses are necessary to run and maintain projects on the ground that are efficient and meet the highest quality standards. ICMC conforms to principles of accountability and transparency and all projects are regularly audited by leading auditing companies.
In the United States, ICMC is a registered 501(c)3 faith-based non-profit organization (Federal Identification Number: 52-1470887) and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. As such, ICMC is exempt from filing a Form 990 with the US Internal Revenue Service. Detailed financial information is available in the Financial overview section.
