Providing water and sanitation services to Afghan refugees in Pakistan

The Afghan refugees living in the Munda Camp in the Charsadda district of Pakistan are facing severe hygiene and health-related problems due to lack of access to water and sanitation. In December 2015, ICMC initiated a project which aims to provide refugees in the Munda Camp with access to safe drinking water, improved sanitation, and enhanced awareness of hygiene practices. The project also includes strenghtening the capacity of local authorities to ensure the provision of sustainable water and sanitation services.
