William Bagley

Development Officer for Strategic Partnerships, ICMC, Inc., Boston

William Bagley is the Development Officer for ICMC’s Development Office in Boston. Bill has worked in the field of philanthropy for nearly forty years.

His career began with the US Congress on civil rights legislation, and he has held senior positions at many of America’s leading colleges, schools, and non-profit organizations.

Bill has advised a Ford Foundation initiative in affordable housing and a national initiative of the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development’s office on the elimination of lead poisoning in children.

For many years, he has counseled on a pro-bono basis individuals and family foundations on the organization of their philanthropic work.

Bill is a licensed lawyer admitted to state and federal courts in Massachusetts and to the US Tax Court in Washington. He is an adjunct professor of law at Boston College Law School. His publications include articles and policy analysis in philanthropy as well as poetry.
